European Robotics Week

Over 340 robotics related events throughout Europe and 125 participating organisations from 17 European countries. The European Robotics Week offers one week of various robotics related activities across Europe for the general public, highlighting growing importance of robotics in a wide variety of application areas, and Moway robot will be there on November 29th with new practices and showing its new features.

The Week aims at inspiring technology education in students of all ages to pursue careers in STEM-related fields, i.e. science, technology, engineering and math.

The aim is to have several events dedicated to robotics throughout Europe within this week, such as open houses, lab tours, exhibitions, workshops / public talks / discussions, targeted educational reach-out-activities (at schools, universities, ….), challenges / competitions, media events (press conferences, filmings, photo shootings, …).

Practices with the new components, Moway Camera Board and Moway Wifi Board

You can enjoy the practices with the new components of mOway, Moway Camera Board and Moway Wifi Board.

The purpose of the practice with Camera Board is that Moway goes straight forward with the camera activated, until it reaches an obstacle. Then, the robot rotates to avoid crashing against the obstacle and keep going straight. The camera images can be watched on PC, by means of MowayCam.

The purpose of the practice with Wifi Board is that the robot transmits and receives data through a wifi net, MowayNet. This net is created by Moway by means of Wifi Module, and it allows to connect to Moway with devices such as phones, tablets or PCs. Once connected to this net, the correct IP of Moway Web Server is entered on the web browser. Then the device will receive sensor values and will be able to control Moway movement.

VI EducaRed International Meeting point

The Telefonica Fundation presents the VI EducaRed International Meeting point 2011 under the slogan "Learning to sharer" in Madrid with the aim of strengthening relationships between teachers, leaders and networks 2.0.
This event will take place from 20th to 22th of October in an open space divided among different parts.
Moway will be in the "Corner of Robotics" with surprising and fun practices. There will be a display about Moway with the new components, Moway Camera Board and Moway Wifi Board. Our team will be there to inform you about the mOway robot.

mOway in parisian classrooms

The mOway robot has been selected as the educational tool for the final project of electronic technical High School by the Ministry of Education in France.

The Paris region has 45 centers and has chosen the mOway robot to Aladyn project with the aim of creating an educational practice in order to detect intrusion in homes. In this project, the robot serves as a mobile platform for researching in housing and confirm or not the intrusion.

The project has been chosen by a group of experienced teachers with a Supervisor Inspector from the Ministry of National Education in France (MEN), which has allowed mOway to establish itself as a valuable educational tool in the country.

Nowadays, 45 centers in the region of Paris are waiting for their mOway kits to start working with them and develop their final projects.

Moway as exhibitor in NJRC

The mOway robot took place in the Singapore National Junior Robotic (NJRC) with its exclusive distributor in Asia EP-TEC. This event is aimed at students at the age of 14 to 18. It took place on the 22nd of August to the 9th of September at the Singapore Science Centre. The NJRC revolves around a specific theme and around a challenge which has to be developed by the students.

Today, the Science Centre receives more than a milion visitors annually and is acclaimed as one of the top Science Centers in the world.

Mowayworld, the new Moway software

It seemed impossible to improve the programming with Mowaygui and to make it even more user-friendly but Minirobots team has achieved it.
It is Mowayworld the new Moway software tool.

It is designed after the original software mowayGUI so, the steap to the new software mowayworld is almost immediately.
These are some of the main advantages of Mowayworld:

• More intuitive: the blocks are organized into menus depending on the function they perform.
• The functions of the blocks are differentiated by color, making it easier to identify and to find them.
• More comfortable: The blocks are inserted directly by dragging from the menus.
• More graphical and attractive: in order to facilitate the integration of Newcomers to the world of programming
• More flexible: The new program allows the drag&drop finction to move the blocks.
• New Feature: Toggle of expansion connector ports
• In following versions we will integrate an environment for programming language C and Assembler, in addition to the flowcharts.

Bronze medal for moway

The Moway robot won the bronze medal in the 22nd edition of the international fair ITEX for his innovation and creativity in technology sector.
ITEX took place in Malaysia from May the 20th to the 22th and Moway was there with its distributor in Malasya EP-TEC Solutions.
It is the leading exhibition in Asia, the best platform for encouraging ideas and inventions. A luxurious showcase for new inventions, technologies and products.
The fair features the latest inventions and innovations by universities, research institutions, individual inventors and corporate sectors from Asia and Europe countries. A perfect meeting point for inventors and investors.

Moway in GESS exhibition

GESS exhibition (Gulf Educational supplies and solutions) took place in Dubai from May 3rd to 5th. The Minister of Education of the UAE opened this event held under the theme "Education in the knowledge Society".

Moway was there with a great success with our partenr for the Middle East countries “UniTec” (United Technology Establishment) who was there at the stand of his distributor in UAE “Sahara Scientific”.
They were able to show the possibilities of the Moway robot and his strengths as an educational tool.

15th Anniversary of Russian Educational Forum

The 15^th Anniversary of “Russian Educational Forum” took place in Moscow from April the19^th to 22nd, a leading Russian event dedicated to equipping educational institutions, educational process and modern methods of education.

Moway was there in a stand with “BAZIS-UFA”, the company representative in Russia of our exclusive distributor in Kazakhstan “Store Base”. Its team presented the Moway robot to more than 8,000 visitors who attended the event.

Who doesn´t know Marco and his monkey? That innocent child crossed half world to meet his mother.

It is possible that the story is repeated by Moway this time; the incredible programmable robot will cross mountains and valleys to reach you.

Moway in Europe

Moway knows that the beginnings are not easy, but hard working and perseverance always get their awards and it continues its path to world conquest. In this occasion, Ukraine is the country who has recognized the fantastic skills of Moway Robot.

Moway´s team was invited to the 3th edition of RoboRace in Chernivist on March the 26th, by Roboart, The National Association of Robotics in Ukraine.

RoboRace is certainly one of the biggest events in Robotics Area in Ukraine, and it was a meeting point for all the references in domestic Robotics and some special guests of neighbouring countries as Poland or Belarus.

Moway robot was there thanks to his exclusive distributor of Poland, NeoRobots, who attended the show to make a presentation of Moway for all the assistants, where nobody was indifferent.

Robotics Week

The national Robotics Week will start in United States on April 9th with the purpose of educating the audience about Robotics Technology and to give the students more information about careers in Robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related fields.
It will be until April 17th. The audience will enjoy a full week with many activities and competitions where everybody can participate.

Return from Didacta Stuttgart 2011

Didacta Sttutgart 2011, finished on Saturday with great expectations for the Moway Robot. Moway was in Stuttgart, Germany, form 22th until 26th February with the latest developments in the sector.

Moway had its space with its distributor in Germany, LPE Technische Medien.

Minirobots team has returned from Bett 2011!

They have come back 2 days before the fair closed its doors but its UK distributor, Data Harvest, is there to solve doubts about Moway until Saturday.

The event has been intense and the reason is the many people that have attended the meeting with Bett 2011. We can say that the new technology in education has aroused a great interest this year for the number of people fascinated in innovative products such as Moway.

Moway reaffirmed, once again, as the ideal educational tool for learning and discover the robotic.

The Minirobots team has started the day off on the right foot at Bett 2011. The presence of Moway Robot and the work next to Data Harvest in these days are being very productives.
